But what about all the people you’d be leaving behind? Do others really go to eternal torment? Behind such a gate, could there be any good people at all?
St. Peter looks you in the eye. “Have faith in the Lord.”
For what sin then is one condemned, for doing ill, or for arrogating to oneself the responsibility of deciding the good? What is virtue and what is vice?
